Pacific Grove, CA—aka America’s last small town—is a historic seaside town, just outside of Monterey and Pebble Beach, and home to the famous Victorian “Hart Mansion.”
Built in 1893 by Dr. Andrew Jackson Hart, the historic landmark has had a wealth of lives over the past century, including: a family home, an apartment building, an antique and home-made candy shop, and, possibly most notable, the infamous Maison Bergerac.
Most recently, the Mansion has been re-envisioned as a gourmet, home-made ice cream parlor: Cream & Crumbles.
With a mission to create a family- and community-friendly establishment focused on whimsical and joyful indulgence, Cream & Crumbles opened its doors in late 2019.
The final mark is inspired by the flavored ribbons throughout the home-made ice cream sundaes and the bold colors adorning the outside of the house, which informed the rest of the assets.
Assets created include: logo, social media posts, large-standing menu, hanging “order here” sign, custom storefront sign (above left), and coloring- and informative-placements.
